New Delhi: People enjoying free travel to walk on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway will now have to spend. This is because traffic has been started here after 383 days after farmers left Ghazipur border. In view of the steep increase in the number of vehicles, it has been decided to impose toll. Under the information received, the free journey is going to be braked from December 25. You must be aware that the 82 km long Delhi-Meerut Expressway connects Delhi with Meerut.

So far, traffic was running without a toll, but now the price has to be paid to run on this route. As per the notification of the Ministry of Road and Transport (Ministry of Roads and Transport), people will have to pay 65 paise per kilometer. Arvind Kumar, project director of NHAI, says, "The toll will be collected from 8:00 am on December 25. Toll payment will have to be made on the way from Dasna to Meerut. Entry of two-wheelers and three-wheelers as well as bullock carts etc. However, despite this, people are arbitrary. For the last 383 days, the farmers were sitting on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway portion on the Ghazipur border. But now the farmers have withdrawn from here and after that, the traffic has been resumed.
