New Delhi: Amidst the protests of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) being held across the country, there was a different view from Nagpur in Maharashtra. After Assam, a huge rally was organized in support of CAA from Nagpur amid reports of continuous violent protests from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, and Gujarat.

On Sunday, Lok Adhikar Manch, BJP, RSS, and other parties rallied in support of CAA in Nagpur. Thousands of people attended the rally. People took to the streets carrying the Tiranga and posters and banners in support of CAA. On the other hand, rallies were held in various places in Delhi, Mumbai, Udaipur, Haridwar, Bangalore and Chennai in support of this Act. There is a huge rally of PM Modi at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan today.

People's eyes are fixed on what PM Modi will say about the CAA protests taking place across the country. In view of the rally, Delhi Police has made elaborate security arrangements. The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is supported by Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. He said that the central government has fulfilled the promise that Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, and the Congress had made to the people who lived a pathetic life in Pakistan. Arif Khan said that the foundation of the Act was laid in 1985 and 2003. The Modi government has given it a legal form.
