New Delhi: Earthquake tremors have been felt 12 times in the last one and a half months in the National Capital Region (NCR) including Delhi. In the same sequence, Delhi-NCR has received shocks of low intensity on Monday afternoon as well. According to information provided by the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake has recorded a magnitude of 2.1 on the Richter scale. However, there is no news of loss of life or property in it.

According to the NCS, its center was located on the Delhi-Gurugram border. It is worth mentioning that earlier on June 4, even the mild tremors of the Delhi-NCR earthquake were felt. At that time, the epicenter of the earthquake was southeast Noida. According to the National Center for Seismology, the quake intensity was recorded at 3.2 on the Richter scale. Let us know that the experts behind the frequent earthquakes say that this is a sign of great danger for NCR in the coming time. People need to be cautious. It is being told that in Delhi-NCR, due to the activation of the plates inside the earth, the energy is coming out, due to which the shocks are occurring intermittently.

Let us tell you that there are 7 plates inside the earth which are constantly rotating. The places where these plates collide more is called fault line zone. Repeatedly hitting the corners of the plates turns. When the pressure starts to build up more then the plates start to break. Due to their breakdown, the energy inside finds a way to come out. This earthquake is followed by an earthquake.
