Delhi: Rain started late last Friday night in the Delhi-NCR region and is now continuing this morning i.e. In fact, the temperature has also dropped from 3 to 4 degrees amid strong lightning and strong winds. The MET department has recently said that rain will continue for several hours in most parts of NCR including Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida. In West UP, heavy rain has occurred in all areas like Muzaffarnagar, Dibai, Aligarh, Baraut, Baghpat. This has caused the temperature to drop sharply. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the lowest rainfall in 12 years has been recorded in August.

In fact, August recorded 24 percent less rainfall this year. The department says that two rounds of weak monsoon were observed across the country between August 9 and 16 and August 23 to 27, but august 2021 saw an average rainfall decline, the lowest recorded in the last 12 years since 2009. In the last 19 years since 2002, August this year has received the lowest rainfall.
