New Delhi: In the month of May, the rains in the country's capital Delhi and many other states of the country have surprised the people. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for rain in Delhi. Expressing the forecast, the Meteorological Department has said that even today there may be rain in some areas of Delhi. Along with this, strong winds have also been predicted. It is expected to be cloudy and drizzling for three to four days in Delhi.

IMD estimates that the maximum temperature is likely to be 27 and the minimum temperature will be 19 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. Whereas, there may be light rain at some places. During this, the wind speed is estimated to be 30 to 40 kmph. The sky remained cloudy on Wednesday morning. Due to this change in the weather, people are feeling mild cold in May. The weather has remained pleasant in many areas of Delhi-NCR for the past few days. There was heavy rainfall in Delhi and surrounding areas on Monday. Due to which the roads of Delhi were submerged. Normally in the month of May, there is intense heat in Delhi, but this time the changed weather has taken everyone by surprise. The weather remained pleasant in Delhi on Tuesday as well and there was no sunshine throughout the day.

At the same time, due to bad weather in Kedarnath, one day's journey has also been stopped. Actually it is snowing continuously here, due to which the yatra has been stopped for a day. Apart from Delhi, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in Rajasthan for 3 days. The possibility of rain has also been expressed in many parts of Kerala and Himachal Pradesh.
