The Delhi Police's special cell has asserted that it possesses confidential information indicating that key individuals associated with NewsClick, namely its founder Prabir Purkayastha, as well as the American millionaire Neville Roy Singham accused of disseminating Chinese propaganda, along with certain Chinese employees from Singham's Shanghai-based firm, Starstream, have engaged in email exchanges that expose their intention to portray Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh as not being integral parts of India.

Furthermore, the anti-terrorism unit of the Delhi Police, while requesting custody of the accused, has alleged a conspiracy aimed at disrupting crucial supplies and essential services vital to the well-being of Indian communities. They also claim that these individuals have played a role in inciting damage and destruction of property by prolonging the farmers' protest through illegal foreign funding.

The remand document from the special cell points out, "A false narrative has been propagated to discredit the efforts of the Indian Government in controlling the Covid-19 pandemic. It has come to light that Prabir Purkayastha conspired with a group known as the People's Alliance for Democracy and Secularism (PADS) to undermine the electoral process during the 2019 General Elections."

Unveiling the Story of Secret Information

As per the Delhi Police's remand document, confidential sources have alerted law enforcement about the illegal infusion of substantial foreign funds into India by both Indian and foreign entities with hostile intentions. This clandestine funding was part of a conspiracy designed to undermine India's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and provoke disaffection towards the nation, posing a threat to its unity, integrity, and security.

The document states, "Since April 2018, fraudulent funds totaling crores of rupees have been channeled to M/S PPK Newsclick Studio Pvt. Ltd through illicit means within a brief period of five years. These funds have been received from entities including M/s Worldwide Media Holdings LLC, USA, and others. Notably, Mr. Prabir Purkayastha, Mr. Amit Sengupta, Mr. Doraiswami Raghunandan, Mr. Bappaditya Sinha, Mr. Gautam Navlakha, Mrs. Geeta Hariharan, Mr. Amit Chakravarty, and M/S Worldwide Media Holding LLC are shareholders of 'PPK Newsclick Studio Pvt. Ltd.,' which is registered in New Delhi," as asserted by the Delhi Police.
