New Delhi: According to the directive of Delhi High Court, Delhi Police has formed a team of senior officers to start negotiations between the police and lawyers. A meeting of both the sides was held in the presence of Lt. Governor on Sunday evening. During the meeting, Delhi Police officials have said that since judicial investigation is going on in the case, action should be taken against any accused person on the basis of the conclusion of the investigation.

The Lieutenant Governor has requested the police and lawyers to continue the dialogue and resolve the dispute. Significantly, there was a violent clash between lawyers and the police on November 2 in Tis Hazari Court of Delhi. Four FIRs were registered in this case. The Human Rights Commission has also taken cognizance of this matter. Policemen also protested in front of the police headquarters to protest against this incident.

A lawyer was told about parking near police lockup in Tis Hazari court premises. During this time, a clash between the police and the lawyer sparked violence and the lawyers set fire to the police vehicles and the women officers were also abused. Let us tell you that the Delhi High Court had ordered a judicial inquiry into the matter, whose report has been asked to be filed in six weeks.
