Delhi police arrested two suspected Kashmiri terrorists

New Delhi: Delhi Police's Special Cell has busted a big conspiracy to shake the capital. The special cell has arrested two terrorists on Monday night. Both these terrorists belong to Jaish-e-Mohammed and were looking to carry out major terrorist activity in Delhi. After intelligence input, Delhi Police's Special Cell arrested the two terrorists from around 10 pm on Monday night near Millennium Park in Seraikale Khan. Police has got two semi-automatic pistols and 10 live cartridges from them.

According to the police, the names of the arrested militants have been stated to be Abdul Latif Mir and Ashraf Khatana. Both are residents of Jammu and Kashmir (one is terrorist Baramulla and the other is Kupwara). According to initial information, the two terrorists also have a lot of connections in the capital city of Delhi. Their targets were VIPs in the national capital. Both are currently being questioned.

Earlier in May, the Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested a terrorist of the Islamic State of Syria and Iraq (ISIS) after an encounter on the Ridge Road near Dhaula Kuan in South Delhi. A resident of Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh had recovered explosive material-IED and weapons from this terrorist. This terrorist had revealed during interrogation that there was a conspiracy to carry out a major attack in India.
