New Delhi: Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested four Kashmiri youths. 120 rounds of ammunition and four sophisticated pistols have been recovered from their possession. The police claim that they had arrived in the capital a few days ago and were on the way to the terror attack. The plot of a major terror attack has been foiled in this way.
Police said ishfaq Majid Coca, the younger brother of the arrested terrorist Burhan Coca, was also named among the arrested youths. Burhan Coca was the former head of Ansar Gajawat-ul-Hind, an offshoot of al-Qaida in Jammu and Kashmir. The remaining three youths have been identified as Altaf Ahmad Dar, Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani and Aqib Safi.
On October 2, the special cell was informed that a gang of Kashmiri youths had been in Delhi for the past few days. They have a large amount of ammunition. They are all going to detour to the vicinity of ITO and Darganj. According to Delhi Police, all of them came to Delhi on September 27 and stayed in Paharganj. The police then arrested the nets and the four Kashmiri youths and now further action is being taken in the matter.
