New Delhi: One of its assistant sub-inspectors has been suspended by the Border Security Force (BSF) with immediate effect. The suspended Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) is being named as Naresh Kumar. ASI Naresh Kumar is accused of stealing gold jewellery from a woman's purse at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport.

ASI Naresh Kumar was arrested after the crime was confirmed with the help of CCTV cameras. Following the arrest of the ASI, the top BSF officials have decided to suspend ASI Naresh Kumar with immediate effect. According to Delhi Airport DCP Sanjay Bhatia, the posting of ASI Naresh Kumar of BSF was held in Bagdogra. He was scheduled to leave for Bagdogra from Delhi airport to join his duty.
