New Delhi: Two groups of wrestlers clashed at The Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi late on Tuesday night. The matter escalated to the extent that the firing took place. It is alleged that some people who arrived with Sushil Kumar severely thrashed the 23-year-old wrestler and later died. In this case, Delhi Police raided the house of Olympic medal winner Sushil Kumar.

Additional DCP (Northwest) Dr. Gurikbal Singh Sidhu said, "Sushil Kumar has also been accused of involvement in the murder. We are looking into that. Our team had reached his house, but he was not present at home. Several teams have been formed to nab the accused. A case has been registered in this regard on the basis of the PCR call. It says, "Preliminary investigations have revealed that Sushil Wrestler and his accomplices were involved in the crime. The FIR said two others were also injured in the incident. He told police that Sushil Kumar's accomplices thrashed him badly.''

The deceased wrestler has been identified as Sagar Kumar who was the son of a head constable of Delhi Police. The injured persons have been identified as Sonu Mahal (35 years) and Amit Kumar (27 years). Police said one of the accused Prince Dalal has been arrested and a double-barrel gun has been recovered from the spot.
