Recently, the Meteorological Department has warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Darjeeling, Cooch Behar and Jalpaiguri in North Bengal by Friday morning. The Meteorological Department at Lucknow in UP said, 'there has been light to moderate rainfall in some areas of Uttar Pradesh'. The department said, 'there has been heavy rainfall at some places in the eastern part of the state'.
