New Delhi: The Delhi government has already decided to set up 7 new hospitals in 6 months. Yes, and 6,836 ICU beds have been asked to be provided in these hospitals. Let me tell you that a cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Arvind Kejriwal CM and the proposal has been approved during the same meeting. The new hospitals are now to be set up at Sarita Vihar, Shalimar Bagh, Sultanpuri, Kiradi, Raghubir Nagar, GTB Hospital, and Chacha Nehru Children's Hospital.

According to the information received, CM Arvind Kejriwal has said, "There are about 10,000 ICU beds in government hospitals in Delhi. The capacity of ICU beds will be increased by about 70% after the construction of 6,800 beds in new hospitals. If the third wave of corona occurs, it will help in treating people at that time. If there is no corona wave, 7,000 new beds will be ready permanently for the people of Delhi.''

Apart from him, Health Minister Satyendra Jain says, "6,836 new beds will be constructed by the Kejriwal government in 7 new hospitals at a cost of Rs 1216.72 crores.'' He also said, "For early construction of hospitals, buildings of multi-story hospitals will be built as hollow 'mild steel' square or rectangular tube steel structures. These structures will have concrete cement rafts or separate foundations that will strengthen the building. The hospitals will be constructed by PWD.''

Let me tell all of you that a 7.5-acre hospital will be constructed at Shalimar Bagh by the government. A hospital of 1,430 ICU fleet will be set up here. Now only 3 floors will be constructed here but two floors can be constructed above if required. At the same time, 458 ICU bed hospitals will be constructed on 2.71 acres at Kiradi. In addition, a 6.02 acre 1,912 ICU bed hospital will be set up at GTB Hospital Campus.
