Chandigarh: Police in Karnal resorted to a lathi-charge on farmers protesting against CM Manohar Lal Khattar last Saturday. About 10 farmers sustained injuries during the period. Amidst all this, a video of Karnal SDM Ayush Sinha is fast going viral. The video is currently doing the rounds on social media. You can see in this video the SDM is asking the policemen to behead the protesters. The video has now been questioned by several Congress leaders and BJP MP Varun Gandhi. In fact, in this viral video, SDM Ayush is heard telling the policemen, "Action should be taken against the farmers with force.''

Not only that, but he has also asked for a written order for the same. You can see in this video, the SDM is standing in front of the policemen and instructing them, 'No farmer can cross the barricades. It is very simple and clear. No one will go beyond where he is from. If he goes, smash his head with a stick. There is no need for direction or regulation, to get up and down. We will not allow security breaches in any way. We have enough force.' He is also heard saying, 'No issue.'

Then he asks the policemen, "Will you hit sticks?" The policemen have to respond to this, yes sir. He adds, 'You guys wear helmets. We haven't slept all night, we've been on duty for two days, all clear, isn't it? No fellow should go ahead from here and if he goes, his head should seem broken.' On the other hand, Congress has attacked the government over the lathi charge on farmers.

Recently, Randeep Surjewala tweeted the video and wrote, "CM-Deputy CM's conspiracy to attack farmers in Karnal is clear from the orders of the Duty Magistrate. Who is ordering the police to smash their heads and pelt sticks on their heads? BJP-JJP is the General Dyer Government. General Dyer has once again been reminded by the lathi charge on the farmers.'' Apart from him, BJP MP Varun Gandhi also tweeted the video and wrote, "I hope this video is edited and the DM has not said so. If so, it is unacceptable for our own citizens in a democratic India.''
