The University of Delhi has issued an official notification to defer final year examinations in 2021.

Delhi University has postponed its undergraduate and postgraduate final year examination for the year 2021. The undergraduate or postgraduate final year examination will now start on June 7.

Earlier the exam was scheduled to commence on June 1, 2021. Delhi University on Thursday may 20 release the notification announcing deferment of examinations. Also informed the same on Twitter stating," final year semester exams of University of Delhi to be commenced from 7th June 2021."

As per the official notification by DU, it reads, " it is hereby notified for information of all the concerned that final semester annual examination may June 2021 to commence from 1st June 2021 are hereby postponed the same shall start from 7th June 2021. Accordingly, all the date sheets released for commencement of examinations from 15th may 2021 are hereby withdrawn."

The notice for the mentions, " the new date sheet shall be released in soon and shall be available on the website of the University of Delhi. The detailed guideline regarding the main June 20 21 examinations will be issued in due course of time. Also, the notifications that are available on the official website of University of Delhi  du.ac.in. shall only be considered authentic for purposes and students nearby advice to visit the official website of the University of Delhi for regular updates related to the examination."

The University of Delhi has said that all the previous date sheets that were released for exams beginning from May 15 have been withdrawn and new date sheets for the examination will be announced soon.
