The University of Delhi will be releasing a ‘simulated list’ today, October 14. Days before the initial cut-off list, this is a provisional list. This is a brand-new feature to help students gain a better sense of the college and course they are enrolling in. If a student feels there are few possibilities for admittance into the college or course they want to take, or if a better opportunity is emerging. They will have a chance to alter the rankings of the courses and colleges they like.
On October 18, the initial merit list will be released. Three There will be three cut-off lists. According to the schedule provided by Delhi University, spot admissions would take place if any seats remain following the three rounds of cut-off lists.

More than 2.17 lakh applications have been submitted to the institution this year in an effort to fill 70,000 spots in undergraduate programmes. According to varsity officials, more than 1.5 lakh students have enrolled their preferred college courses, which is about 67,000 lesser than the entire registration.
For 79 undergraduate programmes spread across 67 colleges, departments, and centres, admissions are currently open. The programmes provide 206 different BA course combinations.
An academic calendar was also made available by DU. The first-year classes are scheduled to begin on November 2 and semester-two sessions are scheduled to begin on March 20, 2023, according to the varsity. However, the new calendar has drawn criticism from teachers who contend that students have not been given enough time to study for the test and the syllabus.
