After passing from the Parliament of India, there is a lot of opposition to the Nagarika law. Mayawati, the head of the party that sent a BSP delegation to President Ramnath Kovind in December to protest against the anti-citizenship law, is deeply saddened by the violence in Delhi. She has also sent a letter to the President regarding this.

For your information, let me tell you that BSP supremo Mayawati has written in a letter addressed to President Ramnath Kovind, that the people who lost their lives and property in the riots in Delhi should be given help. You should direct the Central and Delhi Government about this so that the victims of the riot do not have to deviate from rate. Those people are very upset. Mayawati has written that the riots in Delhi are like the Sikh riots of 1984. Once again Delhi has been shaken by deadly riots. The incident in Delhi remains a subject of negative discussion around the world. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and the central government bear special responsibility for this incident.

In her statement further, Mayawati said that BJP should neither do such a thing itself nor do the party people make any kind of fiery statement, which creates an atmosphere of chaos in the country. He has written that the BJP and its government have largely failed to fulfill their legal constitutional responsibilities. Due to this violence, more than three dozen people have died and 200 people are injured in Delhi so far. He has demanded that the people whose lives have been damaged in the riots in Delhi should be given help. You should direct the Central and Delhi Government so that the victims of the riot do not have to deviate from rate to rate. The BSP supremo has written that the police administration is also well aware of the riots in Delhi.
