NEW DELHI : Members of the Youth Congress protested the questioning of Congress-interim President Sonia Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday in the national capital's Janpath area.

Members carried posters that read, "Will not be afraid, will not submit. Remember that the truth never dies ", squatted on the road and chanted anti-government slogans.

"We are protesting the BJP's spiteful politics against our party president Sonia Gandhi Ji," Youth Congress members said, adding that the BJP fears the truth and the Congress party.

Previously, the Delhi Police detained hundreds of party workers and legslitaros , including Rahul Gandhi, in 2 locations: outside Parliament and outside the Congress Party headquarters at 24, Akbar Road.

Earlier, Delhi Congress chief Ch. Anil Kumar said Congress workers across the country will stand with Sonia Gandhi as the Enforcement Directorate's action to question her was only to physically and mentally harass her.“The Modi government has been using various agencies to harass and scare the Congress leaders/workers but Congress will not fear such tactics and bravely face any probe to expose the lies and falsehood of the Centre, which has hatched up a conspiracy to torment the top leadership of the Congress party through the ED and CBI,”  Kumar mentioned earlier.
