New Delhi: In view of the health of the interim president of Congress, Sonia Gandhi, she has been advised to stay out of the capital for a few days to avoid Delhi's pollution. Due to her chronic chest infection, doctors have given this advice. According to media reports, Sonia may go to Goa or Chennai for a few days. Sources said that she is likely to go out on Friday afternoon and Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi Vadra may also be present with her.

Sonia Gandhi is undergoing treatment due to being discharged from the hospital in August, and doctors are worried about an infection in her chest. Delhi's air pollution has worsened her asthma. In view of this, doctors have advised her to leave the place for a few days. Sonia is going out of Delhi at a time when the party needs her. Following the embarrassing defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, many party leaders have raised questions and demanded introspection. Before that many leaders wrote to her demanding organizational reforms in the party.

Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi on the evening of 30 July. Later on September 12, she went abroad for a few days for her regular checkup and Rahul Gandhi was also with her. This led to the two leaders not joining the monsoon of Parliament, which was held under special circumstances during the epidemic from 14 to 23 September.
