Lucknow: A number of events are being organized at Kalki Mahotsav 2021 held in Sambhal Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rashid Alvi has made controversial statements while attending the Kalki Mahotsav. Rashid Alvi has described those chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' as Kalnemi Rakshasas. At the same time, Rashid Alvi did not shy away from describing Salman Khurshid, who compared Hindutva with terrorist organizations, as a secular person.

Kalki Mahotsav is being organized in Sambhal under the leadership of Kalki Peethadhishwar Acharya Pramod Krishna. It is being attended by senior Congress party leaders. Congress national spokesperson Rashid Alvi said a lot from the stage while attending the Kalki Festival on Thursday. Alvi said he has not read Congress leader Salman Khurshid's book. As far as Salman Khurshid is concerned, he is a secular person. He has not compared Hindutva to terrorist organizations like ISI or Boko Haram.

Talking to reporters at the Kalki Festival, Rashid Alvi said Congress is going to contest the UP elections with full force. The BJP government in the state has failed. In Kasganj, a youth is killed at a police station and the police are trying to term him as a suicide. The father of the deceased is being pressurized in every way. But, the Congress party is not going to leave the killer government of Uttar Pradesh.
