Gwalior: Dengue menace is now on the rise in Madhya Pradesh. There are many districts that are increasingly suffering from dengue. Gwalior is number one on the list. Dengue cases are on the rise here. At the same time, the number of viral fever patients is also increasing rapidly. Above all, dengue and viral fever are affecting the children the most, which is a matter of concern for the administration. Let me tell all of you that 37 dengue cases were reported in Gwalior last Friday. It is also being said that a total of 274 dengue cases have been reported so far, out of which 2 people have died.

At the same time, there is an acute shortage of beds in the city hospitals and their families along with the children are forced to face difficulties. According to reports, more than 80 children are admitted on 36 beds in the paediatric ward of Kamalaraj Hospital in Gwalior district. There are three-four children admitted on one bed. Let me tell you all that the cause of death for the two children who died last Monday was meningitis. The children who died last Thursday were said to be suffering from different diseases. Doctors, on the other hand, say that most of the cases are being reported due to dengue and meningitis.

Dengue threat in Indore too: In fact, the number of dengue cases is continuously increasing in the Indore district also. Last Monday, 16 dengue cases were found, out of which 7 are children. The total number of dengue infected people in the city has crossed 400 by this time.
