Dehradun: After the completion of Vedic puja at The Nrisinga Temple, the gaddi of Adi Guru Shankaracharya and Rawal (chief priest) of Badrinath, Ishwar Prasad Namboodiri Yoga Dhyan has left for Badri Temple Pandukeshwar. Reached Pandukeshwar at around 4 pm for a night's stay. On Saturday, Dev Doliyan along with Rawal left for Badrinath Dham.

Along with this, the Gadu Ghara Oil Kalash Yatra has also returned to Badrinath Dham. On May 8, at 6:15 am in the morning of Brahma Muhurat, the vaults of Badrinath Dham will be opened. After the completion of Vedic pujas at Joshimath Nrisingh Temple on Friday, the gaddi of Adi Guru Shankaracharya, Rawal Ishwar Prasad Namboodiri, Dharmadhikari Bhuvan Chandra Uniyal, as well as Vedpathi Acharya Brahmins of Sri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) and officials left for the Badri Temple Pandukeshwar.

In the same Nrisingha temple, due to this, the local women sang mangal songs and bid farewell to the yatra. Due to this, the chants of Jai Badrinath reverberated in Joshimath, the city of Lord Nrisingha. BKTC vice-president Kishore Panwar said that no inconvenience will be allowed to be caused to the pilgrims at the Dham.
