Director Deva Katta became a highly revered and regarded filmmaker post the release of his film, Prasthanam. He went on to remake it in Hindi recently, but the movie failed to impress even though it had Sanjay Dutt, Ali Fazal, Manisha Koirala amongst the cast. Now, he is developing scripts for a web-series and a movie with Sai Dharam Tej. Recently news about a film with Nara Chandrababu Naidu and YS Rajasekhar Reddy as frenemies surfaced on the Internet.

Deva Katta warned the makers of this film saying that it is his idea to come up with such a film and he developed it as a three-part movie series with the inspiration of God Father series. Now, he has pitched the idea to several OTT platforms to develop it into a web-series. The director further informed that he came up with the idea in 2017 and in few party talks, he stated about the project to a few producers and friends.

He said that previously he did allow one producer to hijack his idea about NTR biopic and he is not ready to repeat the same. He warned the filmmakers of the said film about NCBN-YSR friendship, that legal consequences will be dire and his team is following the news closely.
