New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) says that opening batsman Devdutt Paddikkal has joined the team's bio bubble. He was a victim of Corona infection in the past. His return will definitely strengthen the team's batting. The first match of IPL 2021 between Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians (MI) will be played in Chennai on 9 April.
Meanwhile, the medical team of RCB is constantly in contact with Devdutt so that he can be provided with security when needed. 22-year-old Padikkal was in the grip of Corona, after which he had been quarantined in his house in Bangalore. He underwent a corona test on March 22, after which his report came back positive. Padikkal performed well for RCB in the IPL played in United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the last year 2020.
In IPL 2020, he scored the most 473 runs in 15 matches for his team. He is the second uncapped player to have scored 400 or more runs in IPL history. After his return, now Virat Kohli's team will get a boost.
