Shimla: Development budget may decrease in Himachal amid Corona crisis. If the same situation prevails, then in the coming time, employees and pensioners may have to face huge difficulties in issuing salary and pension. Top officials of the government are busy in financials for financial management. CM Jairam Thakur did some new experiments for his third budget. Where in this budget of the current financial year 2020-21, he had reduced the budget spent on employees, pensioners, interest payment, loan repayment etc.

According to the information received, this time the budget to be spent on development was further increased. CM Jairam Thakur was able to do this. Because he did not have any major electoral challenge this time like the previous budget. But at the end of this year elections of Panchayati Raj Institutions can be proposed. On the other hand, talking about the revenue deficit, then the supply has also got a good grant this time from the fifteenth financial commission. This has also dramatically reduced the revenue deficit.

Understand the previous and this year's budget: This year's budget should be compared with the budget of the previous financial year 2019-20 and if the total budget of Rs 100 is considered, then the salary of the employees will be Rs 27.84. But in the budget estimates of this time it has been reduced to Rs 26.66. The previous expenditure on pension was 15 rupees, it was reduced to 14.79 rupees. The interest payment was Rs. 10.25 which has been increased to Rs. 10.04. Expenditure on loan repayment has been reduced from Rs 7.35 to Rs 7.29. The budget for development works was earlier Rs 39.56, it has been increased to Rs 41.22. But the government or no one thought that the entire plan of the state government could go wrong.
