Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has resigned from his post 24 hours before the majority test in Maharashtra. Devendra Fadnavis announced this in a press conference. Earlier Ajit Pawar resigned as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar have met.

Sharad Pawar has forgiven his nephew Ajit and asked him to come back. Not only this, Sharad Pawar being strict on Ajit Pawar also said that resign or stay out of the assembly tomorrow. Let me tell you that today the Supreme Court has given a big decision on the political struggle of Maharashtra.

The Supreme Court has said its order that Devendra Fadnavis will have to prove his majority in the Assembly by 5 o'clock tomorrow or Wednesday evening. At the same time, the court has also said that majority of the trials will be telecast live. Since this Supreme Court order, the political stir in the state has intensified, with all parties holding meetings with their respective MLAs and discussing tomorrow's majority test.
