Devoleena was dating gym trainer Shahnawaz for the last 2 years. After a long relationship, Devoleena and Shahnawaz secretly got married and surprised everyone. But many people are trolling Devoleena when Shahnawaz is a Muslim. A user made fun of Devoleena and asked her whether her baby would be a Hindu or a Muslim. The man deleted his tweet, but Devoleena gave a befitting reply to the hater.

Devoleena wrote in her reply- Who will my children be Hindu or Muslim? If you are so worried about children, then there are many orphanages, go and adopt and choose your religion and name according to your own. My husband, my child, my religion, and my rules. Who are you? In another tweet, Devoleena wrote, "Leave it to me and my husband. We will see and instead of doing a Google search on the religion of others, focus on your religion and become a good human being. I am so sure that I do not need to take knowledge from people like you.''
