Dehradun: Two passersby lost their lives when a vehicle collided head-on with a vehicle of devotees who were going to visit Maa Purnagiri and watch the fair at Tanakpur in Champawat district of Uttarakhand. The accident took place on Purnagiri Road. Both the deceased were residents of Gedakhyali village. One of the dead was Krishan Kumar and the other was Vikram Singh.  

In fact, on Saturday, a vehicle met with an accident in Champawat. The vehicle crashed while the persons who were going to see the fair. Two passersby were killed in the collision with this car. Six people in the car were injured. These injured persons are undergoing treatment. The deceased have been identified as Krishan Kumar and Vikram Singh.

All the people in the same car were residents of Bareilly, who were going to see the mother, but what they knew was that they would be the victims of the accident even before they could have seen the mother. The condition of some of the injured persons is serious. Everyone is being treated at the hospital. On the other hand, a few days ago, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar performed Ganga Aarti at Harki Padi. CM and Sri Sri Ravinshkar appreciated the beautification work done on Harki Padi from CSR Fund on behalf of Sony Company. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that passengers will also be able to travel to the city by rail for the 'Do Dham Yatra' at Devbhoomi.
