Rewa: After immersing the idol, the devotees were returning to their homes sitting on a tractor. More than 40 devotees were sitting in that tractor. Everyone was happy that the idol immersion went well, but how did they know that death awaits them in their return? When the speeding trolley overturned, there was only blood to be seen. People died after falling on the road. Many were also injured in this accident.  

The tractor-trolley overturned on the return journey due to uncontrollable speed in which three persons died and 13 were seriously injured. The injured persons were referred to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rewa. Treatment of 9 people is going on at the Community Health Center. This case is being told of Pathora located on Naigarhi Mauganj road. More than 40 women and men and children were in the tractor. The incident is said to have happened late at around 3 pm. All have been admitted to the Community Health Center Mauganj for treatment. 

Around 40 people from Chandramouli village of Rewa district had gone on a tractor trolley on Wednesday night to immerse the idol in Devlaha river located in Ashtabhuja Dham of Naigarhi. Many children were also sitting in it along with men and women. The tractor-trolley was fully loaded. All the people were returning after doing Durga immersion in the night when suddenly the balance of the trolley got disturbed near Pathoroda and it overturned. After overturning there was shouting on the spot. People fell on each other. When some people hit the road directly, they died on the spot.
