Khandwa: Due to Corona, the doors of temples were kept closed. However, in view of the situation, the doors of the temple have been opened for devotees in many places. Gurupurnima festival is going to be celebrated on July 4 in Saint Shri Dhuniwale Dadaji of Khandwa. Due to the prevention of corona infection, the entry of devotees in Shridadaji Durbar has been banned till 10 July.

Despite the ban, the police force has been deployed on the access routes of the temple since Thursday, due to crowd of devotees in the Sridadaji Temple. To prevent devotees from reaching the temple, the police administration has made 28 check posts and deployed 350 policemen. All these policemen will stop devotees from Maharashtra or other cities. In this regard, the policemen have been directed to take the 'Nishan' from the devotees.

The conveners of about 30 committees serving every year on Gurpurnima in Sridadaji Durbar have submitted their memorandum to the SDM and sought permission to reach outside the temple premises. In this case, the SDM has told the devotees that our fight is against Corona. It is known that about five lakh devotees visit the palace of Dhuniwale Dadaji every year for darshan. There is disappointment among devotees.
