Amaravati: Collector AMD Imtiaz said that the ticket-holding people will be allowed to visit Kanaka Durga in the Dussehra festival slated for 17 th to 25th of this month on Indrakiladri. Free darshan tickets are available online with Rs. 300 and 100 tickets. The collector spoke to reporters at the camp office on Monday with Durga Temple chairman Pila Swaminaidu and EO M Suresh Babu.

Covid said that the festival will be held without inconvenience to the devotees taking all precautions in the background. In queues, the devotees will be provided with sanitizers.

On the normal days, 10,000 tickets are available daily and 13 thousand tickets are available on mula star day. He said that he had arranged to see the amman of a thousand devotees per hour.  Within ten years, aged 65 years old, pregnant women and divyangs are not allowed to be inthe festivals.  In view of The Covid, the police of other districts are not being brought to the police.

Devasthanam Chairman Pila Swaminaidu said that a lakh tickets were made available online for amma's darshan. The devotees have already taken about 67 thousand tickets.  In the wake of Covid, all the districts of the district have spoken to the gurus. The temple is not allowed to retire and the Bhawani initiations are not allowed, they are suggested to take up their villages.  Amma's teptosavam will be held as usual, but the devotees will not be allowed. Special times will be allotted to VIPs.

5 am to 8 pm darshans:

EO Suresh Babu said that the first day of the festival will be allowed to worship amman from 9 am to 8 pm on October 17 and then from 5 am to 8 pm.  On the day of Moola Nakshatra (21), the darshan of The Mother is from 3 am to 9 pm.  The devotees will be allowed from the Vinayaka temple Devotees have been advised to wear masks, get thermal screening and bring water with them.  Temple buses, lift facility and ghat road way are being stopped.  Special pujas will be conducted online and the prasad and clothes will be sent by post. Media has suggested that coverage should be arranged in two shifts.
