If industry sources are to be believed, Tamil star Dhanush is all set to reprise the role of Naga Chaitanya in Tamil remake of blockbuster 'Majili' which is minting pots of money on two Telugu states and the world over. According to the sources, this emotional drama film might be remade into Tamil and Dhanush might play the role of Naga Chaitanya. The reputation of the film and Samantha being a star at Tamil cinema too has stirred up the interest in the film and a big production house has watched the film.

If everything will go accordingly, Dhanush will be seen reprising the role of Naga Chaitanya in its Tamil version. Majili has already crossed Rs 50 Cr mark at the worldwide box office in just 10 days. The success of Majili has drawn the attention of filmmakers from other languages. Though an official confirmation about the film is yet to be made, this news has gone viral. Currently, Dhanush is busy with his commitments. If he finds the script and narration interesting, the Tamil remake of Majili will go on the floor very soon.

Earlier, Dhanush was seen in Tamil film 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini', remake of Telugu film 'Aadavari Matalakku Ardhale Verule', 'Kutti, remake of Telugu film 'Arya'' and 'Utthamaputhiran', remake of Telugu film 'Ready' to name some of the remakes he tasted success with in the past.
