The Chennai Super kings team, which has returned after the two-year ban in the IPL 2018, is consistently facing troubles. List of injured players in Chennai team is getting longer. Apart from Falco Duplessis, Murali Vijay and Suresh Raina, the name of captain Dhoni is now included in this injured list. In the previous match of Chennai, Dhoni was seen battling back pain during batting. However, in spite of this, Dhoni played an impressive 79 runs innings in this match. But, as per some media reports, Dhoni will not take part in the next match with Rajasthan. The reason behind this is being said to be back pain.
According to Team sources, Dhoni was not seen practicing in the practice session of the Chennai Super Kings before the match against the Rajasthan Royals. It is being said that Dhoni is still a victim of back pain. However, there was a relief for the team that during the practice session Raina was seen on the field and was seen practicing on the net.
It is noted that in the last match, Dhoni had complained of severe pain in his back during batting against Kings XI Punjab, after which team's physiotherapist came to the ground and also gave massage to Dhoni.
