Fahadh Faasil returns with another interesting movie, Dhoomam. The Malayalam film is directed by Pawan Kalyan, who previously directed the multilingual success U-turn. Dhoomam's trailer has been published, promising an engrossing thriller. Fahad Faasil makes an anti-smoking appeal at the start of the trailer. The main character embarks on a task that is morally questionable and involves kidnapping, assault, and intimidation. In the teaser, Aparna Balamurali can be seen sobbing and expressing worry. Fahadh looks to be lamenting the death of a beloved as he repeatedly visits the cemetery in the following shot. The teaser promises action, thriller, and retribution entertainers but doesn't give away anything about the plot.
About Dhoomam, Following the success of blockbuster films like Kantara, KGF, and others, Hombale Films is backing Dhoomam. This is the production company's second Malayalam movie starring Prithviraj Sukumaran as the lead after Tyson. In fact, KGF, starring Yash, is briefly shown playing on the laptop in the teaser. Fahadh Faasil, Aparna Balamurali, Achyut Kumar, Roshan Mathew, Vineeth Radhakrishnan, Anu Mohan, Joy Mathew, and Nandhu are among the ensemble cast members of Dhoomam.
About the drama's technical team, renowned cinematographer Preetha Jayaram is handling the camera work, with Poornachandra Tejaswi providing the music for the picture. Anees Nadodi and Poornima Ramaswamy, both winners of national awards, are also employed by the group as production designers and costume designers, respectively. On June 23, Dhoomam will be set for theater release. Along with Malayalam, the movie will also be released in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.
Meanwhile, Fahadh Faasil will reprise his iconic character Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in Pushpa 2: The Rule, the sequel to the Pushpa franchise.
