Seems the filmmaker Nikkhil Advani's search for suitable lead actress for Lucknow Central is completed in Diana Penty. The film will be directed by Ranjit Tiwari, a debutant that stars Farhan Akhtar in lead role.

The search for actress for the film was long as firstly Kriti Sanon was considered for the role but fate issues cancelled her then Saiyami Kher was to take up the role of an NGO worker but in last Diana Penty is finalized.

Says a source, "After the makers roped in Saiyami, they felt that she isn’t best suited for the role either. Hence, they replaced her with Diana Penty." Farhan and Diana will be seen in a movie together for first time.
