Did the BCCI misbehave with Virat Kohli?

New Delhi: Former Team India captain Virat Kohli is facing very poor form these days. He had stepped down from the T20 format after the T20 World Cup last year. After this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also took away the captaincy of the ODI from Kohli and handed over the captaincy of both formats to Rohit Sharma.

From here, there were discussions among the fans that the BCCI is not treating Virat Kohli well. This speculation was strengthened when Kohli also gave up the captaincy of this format after the test series defeat on the tour of South Africa earlier this year. This time too, Rohit was given the captaincy. Now on all these issues, the BCCI has made some big revelations by giving a clarification to treasurer Arun Dhumal. Dhumal said that the discussions that are going on are wrong. Kohli had decided to quit the captaincy himself. We respected his decision. All the cases of selection are also looked after by the selectors. They have the freedom to make independent decisions.

Arun Dhumal, while talking on a YouTube channel, said that Virat Kohli is not an ordinary player. The contribution he has made to Indian cricket is fantastic. We want Virat to get back to form as soon as possible. As far as the selection in the team is concerned, we have left this decision to the selectors. It's up to them to decide who not to exclude.
