Raipur:There is a discussion in the political circles that Amrita Singh, wife of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh may be the new Vice-Chancellor of University of Journalism. It is being said that the name of Amrita Singh was also discussed in the bureaucracy due to former CM Digvijay Singh being the political guru of the current Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel. The issue came up in a meeting with the Governor's Vice Chancellors.

Amidst these discussions, Amrita Singh on Facebook lately termed it as a gossip. Amrita Singh has said that news has been run very loudly that I have given an application and asked the Governor of Chhattisgarh to make me the Vice-Chancellor of a university. Last year I heard that I am going to contest against the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Later in the Lok Sabha elections, sometimes I was also put in the line of Mayor.

Everything keeps happening here, it is not just me who knows what I am going to do. Most of the media colleagues of Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh keep in touch with me personally. They keep talking too often, but know why they become interim in my own affairs. I have not made any application, nor is there any possibility of seeking or accepting such a position. This news is just and only a miracle of the fake divine vision, which takes gossip and propagates beyond the fact. He said that there is no truth in it.
