Kolkata: West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Dilip Ghosh has taunted Trinamool Congress (TMC), MP Saugata Roy. There are speculations that Saugat can join BJP. On this, Dilip Ghosh said that BJP is a much better party than Trinamool Congress. BJP MP Arjun Singh claimed on Saturday that five TMC MPs are about to be admitted to the saffron party, including Saugat Roy.
Arjun Singh said that Saugat Roy only pretends to be the TMC leader in front of the camera. He has said that it is part of BJP's fake news. He said that he will leave politics, he will die but the BJP will never join. To this, Dilip questioned, 'If Saugat Roy can go from the Indian National Congress to TMC, which is a rotten party, then can't he also join the Bharatiya Janata Party? BJP is a good political party.'
Ghosh has said this aside from Jagadhatri Puja in Sodepur district of North 24 Parganas. He said "Why is there a conflict within the TMC party? Why has there been a political stampede in the TMC? Why are they feeling suffocated? Nobody would have seen Arjun Singh taking money, but TMC leaders were seen taking bribes"
