Legendary Indian superstar Dilip Kumar alias Mohammad Yusuf Khan passed away in Mumbai on the morning of Wednesday, July 7. Dilip Kumar had been ill for some time and was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai where he breathed his last. Many stories related to Dilip Kumar's film career, he bid farewell to the world at the age of 98, but there is one story that was different from the world of cameras and it shaped Yashpal Sharma's cricket career.

Yashpal Sharma had revealed in an interview on the television show that it was Dilip Kumar who had guided his career and helped him to play for the India. Describing Dilip Kumar as his favourite actor, Yashpal said that he always called the legendary superstar Yusuf Bhai. He said, "He is the one who shaped my life in cricket. This was he when he took me from Ranji trophy to BCCI is Yusuf Bhai, whom you know as Dilip Kumar. I am emotionally attached to him".
