The Indian Artistic Gymnast, Dipa Karmarkar who won our hearts in the Rio Olympic as she not only came 4th in the category(which was far better than any other Indian gymnast) but also because she was successful in being graceful with her attempts. Seeing her performance, businessman V. Chamundeshwarnath, who is also the president of the Hyderabad Badminton Association presented her and her fellow team mates of the RIO campaign with a BMW.
But now Dipa has decided to give the car back because of few discomforts associated with it, such as, Agartala, the place she lives does not have any BMW service centre and second, that the car is very high maintain, and there aren’t such roads to drive a car like this.
The car was presented by Sachin Tendulkar, Indian cricketing Legend. However V. Chamundeshwarnath has proposed that he would give her the equivalent amount of money to that of the car to reward her in another way.
