Rakul Preet Singh along with Director Krish is into headlines fo the last few days because of their collaboration for a project. The director is known for his amazing content-based movies in the Telugu film industry. His films like Gamyam, Vedam and Kanche acclaimed widespread appreciations, by fetching prestigious awards like Filmfare and Nandi Awards. Currently, the director has two big films and his one such film is with two talented actors, Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh. A few days ago, Krish announced about his new untitled film with Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh. Apparently, this film is based on the well-acclaimed novel Kondapolam, which was written by Sannapu Reddy Venkat Ramireddy.

The novel Kondapolam upon which the movie will be made deals with the lives of hard-working villagers who leave their homes and live in the hills along with their cattle and sheep. They risk their lives to collect natural essentials in the mountains during the drought season. Sources report that Krish acquired the rights of the Telugu novel Kondapolam at a cost of Rs.10 lakhs.

The director is going to shoot the entire novel in Vikarabad. Krish is planning to wrap up the movie by the end of this year. It will hit the screens early next year. On the work front, Krish has a highly anticipated untitled film with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, which is tentatively referred to as #PSPK27.  The film will be produced by A.M. Ratnam and the music will be composed by Keeravani.  The team of #PSPK27 is most likely to resume shoot next year.
