Journalist-turned-filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has his roots in Osho. His career has continued on the path of Osho. He delivered films like Chocolate, Hate Story and then Buddha in Traffic Jam, Tashkent Files. Vivek is currently on a global trip and is meeting displaced people from Kashmir for his upcoming film The Kashmir Files. Vivek answered a question asked by a media reporter.

How important it is for a writer or thinker to move around - walking is the real sign of life. Wisdom does not expand. When I was not a traveller, I used to make films like chocolate, etc. Now my perspective has changed completely. If Vivek, who created the Hate Story, is now making a film on the death of Lal Bahadur Shastri, then all this is the effect of our company. People around us greatly influence our thinking. There are people around us who make us do all this or else the intellect does not change on its own.

How important do you consider research for a film - you are a part of our economy. Meaning that it is also a product that people pay by paying money. We are in an era where a plant of journalists sitting in Delhi and Mumbai who have not seen India properly, are immersed in the idea of India becoming like America. India's concerns are different. Its challenges are different. In the last five years, I participated in talks in five-six hundred places, met people. This shows what people want to see. Companies do months of research before bringing a product to market. We should also know about the film what the audience wants.
