Jammu: The news of a young man Saqib Manzoor Dar from the old Barjulla area in Srinagar has gone missing since August 5 has spread all around. In an audio message that went viral on Friday night, a person who described himself as Saqib has spoken of becoming a terrorist. The audio came after a video message from the family urging him to return home. On the other hand, the police are denying that Saqib is not involved in terrorism.
The man of old Barjulla area of Srinagar, Saqib Manzoor Dar son Manzoor Ahmed Dar has been missing from home since 5 August. A video of his family members went viral on Friday morning. In this two-minute 50-second video, Saqib's mother, her sister and some other family members are seen crying, urging him to return home. The mother is saying that she has had four operations, please return home. I apologize if they had said anything wrong to him. Not only this, but little sister has also folded her hands and urged him to return home.
In the meantime, an audio message of Saqib went viral. In this, a person who is calling himself Saqib, is talking about choosing the path of Jihad. Says that I want to tell my family members that they should not try to find me. I'm fine". After Lashkar commander Ishfaq Rashid Khan killed in Ranbirgarh on the outskirts of Srinagar on 26th July, Vijay Kumar, the IGP of Jammu and Kashmir Police, claimed that now no youngster will walk on the path of terrorism. The matter is now being investigated.
