Berlin: Opening schools in the midst of the Corona epidemic after summer vacation in Germany gave a big setback to the government. According to media reports, hundreds of students from 2 schools which opened after the summer vacation were returned and schools closed again due to the new wave of Coronavirus.

Students were sent back home after a teacher was found corona positive in a school in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. After finding out about the infected teacher after reopening the secondary school on Monday, all 55 teachers will now have to undergo their corona test. A statement issued by the district administration said the school would remain closed until at least Wednesday. With this, 100 students of a primary school in Rostock district have been quarantined for two weeks.

Out of the total 16 states, Mecklenburg-Forpommern is the first to open schools and is the first state to ask all 152,700 students to come to school. This is the first time since the school has been closed in mid-March this year that everyone has been allowed to visit, but schools have been closed back amid the second wave of epidemics.
