In videw of festivals like Diwali and Chhath, Indian Railways will be launching a special Shatabdi Express train in between Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad to cater to the high demand during the season. As per P.R release issued by Western Railway CPRO Sumit Thakur, Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad special Shatabdi Express will run from October 28, 2020, untill further notice. Likewise, another two pairs of festival special trains between Bhuj and Bareilly, with 74 trips are also being run to clear the rush during the festive occasion.

Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Special Shatabdi Express train number 02009/02010.  Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Special Shatabdi Express will run on all days except Sunday. This train will leave Mumbai Central for Ahmedabad at 06.30 hrs. On the same day, it  will reach Ahmedabad at 12.45 pm. Likewise, in its return journey, train number 02010 will leave from Ahmedabad for Mumbai at 14.45 hrs and will reach Mumbai Central at 21.20 hrs on the same day. The train stoppages will be at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, and Nadiad stations

Special Shatabdi Express- Two special trains are running from Bhuj to Bareilly. In which a train number 04322 Bhuj-Bareilly special train will leave from Bhuj at 05.05 am Bareilly every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday Sunday in the week. The next day will reach Bareilly at 8.35 am.   In this way, in return, this train number 04321 Bareilly-Bhuj Special train will leave Bareilly at 06.35 hrs on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, which will reach Bhuj at 09.30 the next day. From Bareilly, the train will run on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The train stoppages wil be  at Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna; Marwad Junction, Phulera, Jaipur, Gurgaon, Delhi, Sarai Rohilla, Gajrola and Muradabad.
