Novak Djokovic's father defended his son and blamed another tennis player for spreading the Coronavirus during a series of exhibition matches hosted by world's number one player. Djokovic and his wife found corona positive.

Seventeen-time Grand Slam winner then apologized online for organizing the Adria Tour events. Professional players from different countries played matches in Serbia and Croatia. These matches were watched by thousands of spectators in the stadium and during this time the rules of social distance were also not followed.

Djokovic's father blamed Grigor Dimitrov for cancelling the tour, which is one of the three players found positive in the last few days. There is no evidence that this virus spread to others from Dimitrov. Djokovic's father Srdan Djokovic told RTL Croatia TV, "Why did this happen? Probably because that person was already ill."
