Chennai: In view of the Tamil Nadu assembly elections, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has released its manifesto on Saturday. The manifesto was issued by DMK President MK Stalin at the Chennai office of the party. During this, Stalin said that a special court will be set up to investigate the crimes committed by the AIADMK government. Stalin said that the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly would be telecast live on TV and Pongal would be made a statewide celebration ceremony.

Stalin further said that Rs 4,000 will be given on the rice ration card. At the same time, there will be a subsidy of Rs 5 on petrol 5, diesel 4 and cooking gas. Stalin said that a new cyber police station will be set up to deal with women's cyber cases. The manifesto issued by DMK chairman MK Stalin said that drinking water will be made available through pipelines to all corporations including Chennai.

DMK has promised to waive the property tax hike. It has also been said that if the DMK government comes, the price of milk will be reduced by 3 rupees per liter. It was also promised financial assistance of Rs 25,000 to one lakh people going on pilgrimage to major Hindu temples, increase and support of maternity leave period, cut fuel prices and take steps to ban NEET.
