For a long time, fans of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have wanted to see these two together in a film. Although many such attempts have been made, but this has not been possible. For now, co-producer Nikhil Dwivedi of Salman's Dabangg 3 has told that it was going to happen but the film could not be made at the last moment.

Nikhil said that Salman and Shah Rukh agreed to work together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film. Confirming this, Nikhil from Mumbai Mirror said, 'Yes, it was almost going to happen. Both Shah Rukh and Salman agreed to work together and we too were excited for it. But I think Bhansali was not very happy with the second half of the film and wanted time to do more work on it.

When this film was not made, Bhansali started working with Salman on 'Inshallah' which was canned before it was made. After this, Bhansali started work on 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' with Alia Bhatt. Nikhil also said that now he suspects that hardly this film can ever be made. Well, even though this film is not being made, the fans of Salman-Shahrukh will once again be excited to see them together in the film.
