Holi is the festival of colours and happiness which is celebrated all over the corner of India by people with a lot of excitement. Hindus with the start of march month eagerly wait for the day of Holi. Well, do you know why this colourful festival of Holi is considered to be the biggest festival of Hindus???

It is celebrated to signify the Victory of good over bad. The two-day festival begins with the Holika Dahan where people get gathered to mark the end of Holika by Prahlad. The next day i.e second day is popularly known as Dhulandi where everyone celebrates it by putting colours on each other.

Holi is the festival which is celebrated on fool moon night in Phalguna month. This day people take blessings from their elder ones, meet their friends and play Holi with them. At houses, tasty sweet, as well as other dishes, are made.
