USA: At the Chicago Auto Show, renowned US-based automaker Dodge displayed the "Last Call" limited-edition Challenger Black Ghost. Only 300 Coupes will ever be produced in the entire world.

The vehicle is an homage to Godfrey Qualls' famous "426 HEMI" V8-powered 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T SE model. Let's look at the best features of the muscle car.

Since its introduction in the 1970s, the Challenger has become the most recognizable name in the Dodge lineup. The muscle car is famous for its powerful 5.2-liter V8 engine, which won many drag racing competitions during its time.

One such famous automobile, the original "Black Ghost", belonged to Godfrey Qualls of the Woodward Avenue neighborhood of Detroit. The automaker is now honoring the icon.

The 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost is powered by a powerful HEMI V8 engine that also powers the Charger, a capable four-door sedan, and the standard Challenger models.

The massive 6.2-litre Hemi V8 engine produces 807 horsepower and 890 Nm of peak torque. Either an 8-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual gearbox can be used with the mill.

The limited-edition 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost features a distinctive gator-skin vinyl roof in keeping with the 1970s style.

It was designed to resemble the vinyl soft-top roof of the earlier Black Ghost. Even though the vinyl wrap is done for aesthetic reasons only, it significantly enhances the overall appeal of the muscle car.

The interior of the 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost features a modern, four-seat interior. Its seats, dashboard, door trims, multifunction steering wheel, red carbon fiber bezels, suede headliner, and exclusive "Black Ghost" badge are all upholstered in premium Alcantara and Laguna leather.

Additionally available are a large touchscreen infotainment panel with connectivity options and a semi-digital instrument cluster.

The company has painted the muscle car in a special "pitch black" color scheme to differentiate the limited-edition 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost from the standard model.

While the coupe's distinctive paint job gives it a stealthy presence, it also draws attention to the chrome-finished parts, including the fuel filler cap and badging on the hood and front quarter panels.
